Rand L. Miller began his career in Real Estate Finance in 1987
upon being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. His military service of
four years consisted of serving in the coveted 1/75th Airborne Ranger
Battalion during 1983-85. During which he participated in the Battle
of Grenada "Urgent Fury". His platoon participated in the
fiercest fighting of that battle incurring the most casualties. Three of his
special operation team members including his team leader and roommate were killed during
the Battle. He was quickly promoted to Special Operations Gun Team Leader due
to his determination, leadership ability and his "can do" hard work ethic.
After completing his two grueling years with the Rangers he was promoted to Sergeant and selected along with 6 other Rangers to develop the West Coast 7th Infantry Division Air Assault & Rappel Master Courses. During his remaining two years of service he trained over 5900 infantryman on Pathfinder, Air Assault, Rappel Master, and Light Infantry operations.
Rand L. Miller enjoys the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, and just about any kind of physical sport that will work up a sweat. He enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and five children.
